Accessibility statement

Last reviewed 25 September 2026

We want Latte PDF and this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with low vision, colour blindness and motor impairments.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA for this website and, where it applies, for the app. The website scores 100 for accessibility in Google Lighthouse, and we check it with the keyboard alone and at phone widths down to 320 pixels. It has not had an independent audit.

What we've built in

  • Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for readers with low vision.
  • High-contrast soft black and off-white, in both the light and dark themes.
  • A text size control (A−, A, A+) in the status bar that enlarges the whole interface.
  • Text states that use symbols and line styles, never colour alone.
  • Controls 44 pixels tall, with written labels and a clear focus outline.

Keyboard

  • Arrow keys nudge the selected text block.
  • Tab and Shift-Tab move between text blocks.
  • Return edits the selected block, Delete removes it and Esc deselects it.
  • Every command in the menu bar has a standard ⌘ shortcut.

Known limitations

  • Full screen reader support (VoiceOver on macOS) has not been verified yet.
