1. Plans and prices

Prices are in US dollars. The current prices are shown in the pricing section of our home page, and you pay the price shown at checkout.

Latte PDF is free to download and use for opening, editing and previewing PDFs. A licence adds the ability to save edited files, so we recommend trying the free version on your own documents before you buy. Latte PDF runs on macOS; the download page lists the macOS version each release needs. Windows and Linux versions are planned.

Each plan is a single payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Office covers 10 computers for $49, and you choose how many more, at $4.90 each, up to 500 on one licence key; you can add computers later at the same price on Add computers. (Office licences bought before 5 October 2026 in tens keep their computers.) Prices exclude sales tax, VAT or GST, which is calculated and added at checkout based on where you live.

2. Who you buy from

Our online store is run by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which is the merchant of record for all orders. It processes your payment, collects and pays sales tax and VAT, and issues your invoice. Its buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

3. Delivery

After payment, Lemon Squeezy emails you a receipt, and we email you your licence key in a separate message, usually within a few minutes. Latte PDF is downloaded from our website. If your key doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, use Find my key, or contact support@latteapps.com.

4. Computers

A licence is per computer. Your plan sets how many computers can use Latte PDF with your licence at the same time: its activation limit. A computer is one physical or virtual machine; reinstalling Latte PDF or updating the operating system on the same computer does not use another activation.

You activate a computer by clicking Activate in the app, which sends your licence key, your email and an anonymous computer identifier (a one-way code the app makes from this computer's hardware ID; the hardware ID itself is never sent) to our licence server so it can count your computers against your plan. After that, the app checks your licence on the computer and works offline.

To move Latte PDF to another computer, open Latte PDF › Licence… on the old one and click Deactivate this computer. This frees its place straight away, as often as you need. If you no longer have the old computer, use Reset my licence on our website: it deactivates every computer on your licence at once. A licence can be reset 3 times in 30 days; after that, email us and we'll help.

5. Upgrading

You can move to a plan with more computers by paying the difference between the two plans' prices at the price you bought at: with a friend's invite code, Solo to Personal is $1.50; at the regular price, $3. To upgrade, email support@latteapps.com with your licence key and the plan you want, and we'll send you a checkout link for the difference. Computers added to Office cost $4.90 each, on Add computers.

6. Price changes

We may change prices for new purchases. A price change never affects a licence you already own, and never adds a charge for updates.

7. Launch prices and discount codes

If we run a launch price, it is a lower price for a limited time, and it ends on the date we announce with it. Only one discount code can be used per order, so codes can't be combined with each other or with a launch price.

Invite codes. Every licence comes with its own invite code, in your licence email and in Latte PDF's Help › Invite Friends (Latte Scanner, once it is in the App Store, will also give a code to anyone who asks; each code counts its own friends). A friend who uses it pays 50% less for Solo ($5) or Personal ($6.50); a code never takes anything off Office. Only purchases count, and a refunded purchase stops counting. When 5 friends have bought with your code, you get a Latte PDF Solo licence, sent to the email address you choose, to use or give away. A code works for at most 25 friends a year and is for people you know: it must not be sold, traded or published on coupon websites, and we may switch off a code that is. Codes and rewards have no cash value, and a reward already given is never taken back. A licence's code ends with the licence: if the licence is refunded or revoked, its code stops working for friends too. Latte Scanner's section below has its friend price, the free Latte Scanner Pro any code earns at 3 friends once Latte Scanner is in the App Store, and the Latte PDF code Latte Scanner Pro owners get.

Creator codes. Some people who write or make videos about Latte PDF have their own code. It takes 30% off Solo or Personal (never Office), and the creator earns a commission on what you pay. You pay the creator's price either way; you can't combine it with a friend's invite code or a launch price.

8. Refunds

Every purchase has a 100% satisfaction guarantee: ask within 7 days and we'll refund you in full, once Latte PDF is deactivated on your computers. A refund ends the licence. If Latte PDF is still activated on a computer after a refund, it goes back to the free version there the next time Deactivate this computer or a button in Help › Invite Friends is clicked on it. 9. Chargebacks

Please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank; we'll refund you directly and faster. If a payment is reversed, the licence ends and you must uninstall the Software.

10. Licence terms

Your use of Latte PDF is governed by the licence agreement.

11. {scanName} for iPhone and iPad

Latte Scanner will be sold in Apple's App Store, not in our online store, so these terms apply to it only where this section says so. Apple sells it to you, and Apple's terms and its standard licence agreement for App Store apps apply.

• Free to scan. Latte Scanner is free to download and to use for scanning, with no limit on pages or documents.
• Latte Scanner Pro. One optional in-app purchase of $7.99 (or the App Store's price in your country), paid once, with no subscription and no renewal. It adds expenses, a mileage log, rental property records, splitting with friends, a monthly budget and reminders. It covers every iPhone and iPad signed in with the Apple Account that bought it, and your Family Sharing group, with free updates to everything it includes (brand-new features may be offered separately). To get it on a new device, tap Restore purchase. Expense categories and reports help you sort your records; they are not tax advice.
• Refunds. Apple handles payments and refunds for App Store purchases, so ask Apple for a refund of Latte Scanner Pro. Our refund policy covers Latte PDF licences only.
• Pro free with Latte PDF Personal. Every paid Latte PDF Personal order comes with one code for Latte Scanner Pro at no cost, sent with your licence key once Latte Scanner is in the App Store; Solo and Office don't include Latte Scanner Pro. Earlier Personal buyers get theirs by email when it launches. A code is an App Store offer code: it works once, for one Apple Account, until the date in the email (Apple allows at most six months), and you redeem it in Latte Scanner or the App Store. It has no cash value and can't be exchanged for money. Refunding the Latte PDF order doesn't undo an unlock already redeemed. If your code has expired unused, write to support@latteapps.com.
• Invite codes. Every Latte PDF licence comes with its own invite code, and once Latte Scanner is in the App Store, everyone can get a personal invite code in Latte Scanner; each works in both apps and counts its own friends. A friend with your code can buy Latte Scanner Pro at the friend price, $3.99 instead of $7.99, as a separate App Store product that unlocks the same Pro, or Latte PDF Solo or Personal at 50% off. Only purchases count, and a refunded purchase stops counting. When 3 friends have bought, you get Latte Scanner Pro free (an App Store offer code); at 5, a Latte PDF Solo licence: the app shows a claim code, and you enter it on our website with the email address the licence is for. After that there are no more rewards, and friends keep the friend price. A code serves at most 25 friends a year, and is for people you know: don't sell it or post it on coupon websites; we may switch off a code that is. Codes and rewards have no cash value, and a reward already given is never taken back.
• What you paid for Latte Scanner Pro comes off Latte PDF. Once Latte Scanner is in the App Store, each purchase of Latte Scanner Pro comes with one Latte PDF code, asked for in Latte Scanner's Settings › Latte PDF for your computer. Entered under Have a code? in the pricing section of our website, it takes what you paid for Latte Scanner Pro ($7.99, or $3.99 or $5.49 with a friend's or creator's code) off Latte PDF Personal, the plan that includes Latte Scanner Pro, and Personal is sold at the same price level: bought with a friend's code, Personal is at the friend price too, so buying both costs the same in either order. It doesn't work on Solo or Office. It works for one order and ends 365 days after you first ask for it (the end date is shown with it). If that order is refunded, the code works again; if the Latte Scanner Pro purchase is refunded, an unused code stops working. It has no cash value and can't be exchanged for money.
• Creator codes. A creator's code takes about 31% off Latte Scanner Pro ($5.49 instead of $7.99), as a separate App Store product, and 30% off Latte PDF Solo or Personal. Apple's purchase carries a random number made for that code, so the creator's sale is counted without your app sending anything more.
• Offer codes. We may also give App Store offer codes for Latte Scanner Pro, for example at launch. Each works as Apple's offer says.
